CLASSES AT CONTRA COSTA COLLEGE

The following classes are being offered at Contra Costa College to San Pablo residents:

Career Advancement Programs in Healthcare and Automotive Technology for Fall 2011

Fall 2011
Programs at Contra Costa College (CCC).  Below is a
brief description
of each program.  Interested students are required to
attend an
orientation before registering for classes.
Orientations are held at
CCC in Room H (Humanities) 19.  Classes start on
 August 15.   These
are the following dates and times:

Monday, August 8 at 12pm
 Tuesday, August 9 at 6pm
 Wednesday, August 10 at 9am
Thursday, August 11 at 12pm

 The Health Education Department is offering a new Career
Advancement
Program that provides students with the necessary skills to
begin a
career in health.

 The Automotive Technology Department is offering a new
Career
Advancement Program that provides students with an entry level
certificate and they will also get the necessary training to start a
career in the automotive industry.  Also a class in
the Introduction
to Hybrid Electric Vehicles  for experienced
automotive technicians.

 Interested students must attend an orientation.  They
 can contact
Antonio Medrano to set up an appointment at
 510-232-2596. 

* Students who are eligible for financial aid, may have their
tuition
 and books fees waived.
