San Pablo Talk Back

San Pablo, California

  • Our Purpose

This blog is for us, the people of San Pablo and guests, to share information and concerns about our city, our government, our schools, our neighborhoods, our businesses, our religious centers, and any and all issues we deem important. It is also for us to ‘talk back’ to each other and government about the issues and questions that concern us. We commit to be respectful of each other. There is much we can accomplish working together.

NEW GROUP IS FORMED- SAN PABLO COMMUNITY ALLIANCE

Posted by xaviervir on June 13, 2010

At the ‘potluck’ party at Olivia’s , those in attendance decided to change the name of our group from’ San Pablo Against Eminent Domain’ to ‘ San Pablo Community Alliance ‘.  Although the eminent domain problem was resolved on May 3, in our favor, many of us in the group want to remain involved in San Pablo politics and  feel we should continue to go to City Council meetings and express our opinions when the City Council tries to do something that we do not agree with.  I think we all know that this City Council needs to be watched.

Our new group, ‘ San Pablo Community Alliance’ is looking for a meeting space. We are hoping to have our first meeting sometime before June 30.  We are looking for a place (free) to meet.   If you know of a space, let us know.  As soon as we have a space, everyone will be notified.

Save Lake Elementary group formed. FYI We the teachers and Parents at Lake love our school and have no intention of giving it up without a fight. Interested community members who want to get involved may come to our next steering committee meeting Thursday Dec. 2nd at 3:30 at Lake room 5
